About Ada

Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Ada is a beautiful 3-year-old domestic shorthair torbie with a big personality and an even bigger love for snacks. She came to the rescue after facing some challenges with allergies, but with attentive care, she is on her way to a much happier and healthier life and is ready for a home that appreciates her unique charm. Ada’s temperament is best described as salty but sweet. She prefers high perches to overlook her surroundings and supervises the household with a watchful eye. While she can be selective about feline companions, she loves being near people—just on her own terms. She enjoys affection when she wants it, asking for pets but not keen on being picked up and valuing her personal space. She’s passionate about food, making treat time a highlight of her day. Ada also has a quirky habit of chewing plastic, so bags and wrappers are best kept out of her reach. An adopter should be ready to keep temptations tucked safely away. Ada will thrive in a home where her sass and personality are celebrated. If you’re seeking an independent, entertaining companion who expresses affection in her own unique way and loves high-up spots, Ada could be your perfect match. Her vaccinations are up to date, she is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and has received regular flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has also tested negative for FeLV. The rescue recommends rechecking a fecal within 48 hours of adoption (covered by the rescue), and if necessary, will assist with further dewormer as recommended by your veterinarian. Ada comes fully registered with her microchip and all her medical records will be provided to you. To help her transition, you’ll receive some of the food she’s used to, along with information on Upper Respiratory Infection—common in rescue cats. Ada is consistently using her litter box, but a gradual introduction to your home is advised, especially if you have other pets. Slow, careful introductions are key to a peaceful transition. If Ada sounds like your kind of feline, don’t hesitate to apply and help her start her next adventure in a loving home! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
