About Jake

Jake is a 10-year-old Beagle who is looking for a loving home. Often described as your typical Beagle, he's smart, sweet, and a bit stubborn, which only adds to his charm. After coming to the shelter due to his original owner's health issues, he's ready to find a new family that loves the great outdoors as much as he does. Jake enjoys going for walks and is housebroken, making him a great companion for those active families out there. Jake has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, and has been treated for fleas and worms. He is also microchipped for added security. Though he’s in good health overall, he is currently undergoing treatment for Lyme disease, but he's well on his way to recovery. If Jake sounds like the kind of dog you'd love to have by your side, consider submitting an adoption application through the Elk County Humane Society. Alternatively, you can visit anytime during business hours to meet him in person. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
