About Oso

Oso is a charming little Dachshund who joined our rescue after a tough start. He battled Parvo but has made a full recovery and is now thriving in a loving foster home. At about 9 months old and weighing around 11 pounds, Oso has lovely hazel eyes and plenty of personality. He’s sweet and craves cuddles, wanting nothing more than a lap to snuggle on and a playmate by his side. He gets along well with other small dogs, but he can be protective around new people and does not do well with large dogs. While he’s about 85% housebroken and uses pee pads, he still needs a consistent potty schedule typical for a puppy. Oso is currently overcoming his fear of walking outside; his foster is helping him with leash training. He can be left alone for 1 to 3 hours and still requires three meals a day until he’s a year old. Oso has been neutered and has received his first vaccination. Adopt Oso and give him the loving home he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
