About Lincoln
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Lincoln is a super sweet, lovable, 21 lb goofball with a joyful personality and plenty of love to give. After arriving at a shelter in Central California for the second time through no fault of his own, he soon became a staff favorite and was whisked away to the caring environment at The REAL Bark rescue. Spending a few months in a loving foster home, Lincoln has blossomed and shown just how wonderful he is, even at his youthful age of 10. He is bursting with life, affection, and enthusiasm for every new day. Lincoln thrives on positive attention and is highly food motivated, showing extra excitement at mealtimes, with puzzle toys, and when given a tasty bone to chew. He absolutely adores cuddles, pets, and cozy naps, and he joins in for multiple short walks throughout the day. He enjoys the company of people and other dogs, making him a great companion for households with canine friends. Lincoln will do best in a home with access to a secure, single-level yard where he can comfortably take care of his needs. He recently completed a full dental and has some routine senior care needs but remains a happy, bright spirit ready to share his golden years in his forever home—third time’s the charm! Senior dogs like Lincoln truly are the best—wise, loving, and endlessly appreciative. If you live within the Los Angeles County area and are ready to open your heart to a treasure like Lincoln, he is ready to return the love tenfold. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
