About Roman
Roman is a charming one-year-old dog who came to us through an owner surrender after his dad faced health challenges. His previous owner made the difficult but loving choice to find Roman a new home that can provide him with the time, attention, and exercise he needs. Roman is undeniably handsome, with a striking gray coat that highlights his unique personality. Roman has congenital hip dysplasia, giving him a slightly swaying gait and sometimes unusual positioning of his back legs. However, he's adapted remarkably well and shows no signs of pain or discomfort. An orthopedic specialist has cleared him for a full life, but regular exercise is essential for strengthening his hind legs. Activities like swimming and long walks will keep him active and engaged. Roman is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves spending time with children. Although his compatibility with cats is unknown, he does enjoy chasing squirrels in the yard. With his loving nature and playful spirit, Roman is ready to find a family that will offer him plenty of affection and an active lifestyle. Ready to make him a part of your family?
