Spring
AvailableSpring is a mixed breed Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel with beautiful golden coloring and a medium-length coat. She is a senior female who has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Spring is house trained and currently located in New Canaan, CT. She has a moderate energy level and enjoys lounging and companionship, making her well-suited for a calm home environment.
About Spring
Spring weighs about 65 pounds and is estimated to be 6–7 years old. Her mellow, moderate-to-low energy means she’d rather nap in the shade than sprint around the yard. Give her some grass to stretch out in, and she’ll make her own fun—one volunteer describes how much she loves to roll around, legs in the air, happily wiggling like no one’s watching. She lives for belly rubs and gentle attention, never shy about politely lifting her paw for a bit more affection. Spring has mastered the basics—she sits for treats and keeps her space spotless without accidents, so her day-to-day routine is simple. While she doesn’t crave constant activity, she does enjoy leisurely walks and will benefit from some continued leash practice. Spring is social with other dogs and is happy to say hello, sometimes with a bark but mostly with curiosity. She would likely enjoy life as your only dog or with a calm, friendly canine companion. She’d make a lovely homebody—healthy, affectionate, and happiest lounging indoors with her people. Spring is already spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative, with preventative care up to date. She’ll be traveling up from the South and ready for a new start in late June. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
