Affectionately known as “Bobo,” he is 12 years young and full of charm. Bo is a gentle and devoted companion. He’s happiest at home, content to stay close to his people or curl up on his dog bed. He is housebroken, knows basic commands like “sit," "lay down," and has experience walking on a leash. He is also crate trained. He will pick up his leashes as well if he wants to go on a walk. He has also done well going out in a fenced area. Most importantly, Bo LOVES toys, and will often to try to grab as many as he can in his mouth. Bo previously lived as an only dog but has had positive experiences with dogs of similar or smaller size. He has also done well with children, making him a wonderful option for a calm, loving family. He is fully up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and on consistent flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. His recent bloodwork and fecal exam were clear. As a senior, Bo is on a joint and bone support supplement to help maintain his mobility. He continues to navigate stairs, run, and enjoy daily activities like any dog, with a little extra support to keep him feeling his best. Bo is being rehomed due to his owner’s transition into a nursing home—a decision made with deep love and sadness. In his previous home, Bo was more than a pet; he was a steady source of comfort and emotional support, providing loyal companionship through the years. As part of his adoption, Bo will be freshly groomed and will go home with his medical records, food, treats, and comfort items to help ease the transition. Bo is the definition of a loyal companion—soft-hearted, affectionate, and deeply deserving of a peaceful, loving place to spend his golden years.
