Latte is a stunning retriever mix with a short apricot and golden coat, giving her a unique, warm appearance. While Latte is loving, she may be shy at first; a home with another friendly dog would help her feel at ease and blossom into a confident companion. She occasionally startles even at her own shadow, but once she feels safe, relaxed, and loved, Latte will seek out affection and your company. She’s a quiet, observant girl who prefers calm environments where she can shine. Because Latte is shy, she would do best in a home without children. She thoroughly enjoys being a dog—playing with her siblings, chasing lizards, birds, and other animals, and having some fun in the yard. For that reason, a fenced yard outside the city will give her the best place to enjoy her favorite pastimes and provide the calm she craves. Latte is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, 4dx negative, and microchipped. If you’d like to see more photos or videos, just ask—her foster family has plenty to share! Latte is currently in Puerto Rico and once adopted, she can be transported to New York or New Jersey. Her rescue is committed to matching her with the best possible home, so please be sure you’re ready to provide exercise, companionship, and the patience she needs to settle in. As with any new arrival, she may need some time to perfect her house training in a fresh setting, even though she is already house trained in her foster home.
