About Daffodil
Daffodil, sometimes called Dillyweed or Baby D, makes everyone around her smile. She clocks in at 11 years old and 30 lbs, a mellow, people-loving Schnoodle mix. The first thing you’ll notice is that when she wants to join you on the couch, she’ll gently rest her head and wait for a lift—she doesn’t jump up on her own. Daffodil loves a gentle stroll and will happily plod along at your side on city sidewalks or around the block, leash loose, sniffing only now and then before heading back to you. Apartment living suits her fine as long as there’s an elevator, and she’s mastered new experiences, even revolving doors, without fuss. The calm, gentle streak runs deep: she’s unfazed by city sounds, welcomes guests, rarely barks, and enjoys every pet and head scratch you’ll give. Kids can touch her paws and face—she handles it all in stride. Daffodil gets along with just about everyone, dogs included, and is likely fine with cats too. She’s house trained and takes her daily medications for a mild thyroid issue without trouble. Most of her day is a relaxed routine—morning walks, naps in sun patches, afternoon strolls, dinner, and winding down next to you for nighttime cuddles. Toys aren’t really her thing, but yak bones and attention are. She’s looking for a stable routine, a family or even a single adopter who wants a low-key, easygoing companion. If you want a sweet, gentle dog who’ll thrive in a moderate or calm home, Daffodil’s your girl. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
