About Bobo Baloo
Bobo Baloo is a large, gentle Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix who has lived his early life in Tennessee and is now headed for New England. Even at roughly a year old, Bobo comes across as the definition of a lovable, mellow giant—he gravitates toward people and thrives in their company. He’s got a reputation for affection: he’ll hold your hand with his paw and give big, soulful hugs, winning over just about everyone he meets. Despite his size, he’s patient and tolerant around children, even handling the chaos of kids climbing on him with easy-going calm. Bobo is house-trained, good in a crate, and handles a leash well. While he’s friendly with other dogs and new faces, cats are still a bit of an unknown for him, so slow introductions are important. As is common with guardian breeds, he has a loud bark but it’s all heart behind it. Bobo did chase a chicken once, but more out of curiosity than anything else. Currently on antibiotics for Ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne illness, Bobo is otherwise thriving and looking for a family willing to keep him moving forward. If you want a loyal and steady companion who wants nothing more than to be part of the family, Bobo Baloo will fit right into your life. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
