About Campfire
Meet Campfire, a gentle four-year-old retriever/Aussie mix who survived a rough start. Rescued from a difficult hoarding situation, Campfire arrived timid and fearful, her coat so matted it had to be shaved completely off. Under the care of her foster, she has blossomed into a different dog—quiet, affectionate, and eager to please. She is fully housetrained and crate trained, and gets along effortlessly with dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Campfire loves sunbathing or curling up beside you, often shadowing her favorite people around the house. While she’s still shy and building confidence, she opens up more every day, especially with support from other dogs. Sweet-natured and soft, Campfire will make a patient adopter very happy. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
