About Summit
Meet Summit. He’s a 6-month-old retriever and Australian shepherd mix, one of nine pups rescued after living in a hoarding house packed with dogs. Since arriving at the rescue, Summit’s had time to let his guard down and finally enjoy being a puppy. He’s playful, affectionate, and soaking up every bit of attention that comes his way. Summit’s manners are still a work in progress—he’ll need patient, positive training and an adopter who’s ready for all the ups and downs of puppyhood. What he brings is that classic puppy energy and deep loyalty that comes from a rough start and a soft landing. Summit gets along well with other dogs and is equally sweet with children, making him a great candidate for a lively and welcoming home. His life so far hasn’t been the easiest, but he’s made for a bright future with someone willing to give him the care and love he craves. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
