About Ivy
St Ives of Sploot—better known as Ivy—is proof that a senior dog can be full of life, personality, and an easygoing vibe. At 12 years old, she’s polished off the rough edges from her time as a stray and is settling into the good life with her foster family. Ivy wins people over with her sweetness and gentle manners, plus her foster mom swears she’s a model house guest: calm, house trained, and never destructive. She’s got a touch of arthritis in her back legs, but it’s managed with daily meds (delivered via peanut butter, which she’s happy about). Ivy still enjoys short walks and soaking up all the outdoor scents, and you’ll often find her carrying her leash to the door for a little outing. Afterward, she’s content snoozing nearby or curling up next to her people for a good nap. Ivy gets along well with kids and enjoys meeting people of all ages. She’s friendly with other dogs, given a slow introduction, and she handles car rides and nighttime routines like a pro. Her only real request is a home with minimal steps—or someone willing to make it easier for her to navigate—so she can continue to thrive with her signature calm and loving presence. Born April 28, Ivy is a practical Taurus and knows the value of cozy spaces and devoted companionship. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
