About Finnick

Finnick is a clever, high energy mixed breed dog—just about a year old and roughly 10 lbs. He’s housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has already picked up “sit” and “lay.” He’s still got a lot of puppy energy and will need someone committed to continuing his training, especially as he’s quick to jump and gets excited easily. Finnick is dog-friendly, easily making canine pals after the initial introductions, and he can coexist with cats, provided they are okay with a very bouncy housemate. The rescue recommends a home with children at least 6 or older, simply because his enthusiasm can lead to accidental scratching. He is scheduled for his neuter and 4dx test in Georgetown, and his adopter must be able to keep that appointment—no exceptions. Foster-to-adopt families must live within an hour of Georgetown due to this requirement. He’s happiest trailing his people around the house and will quietly settle in his kennel when asked. If you’re up for a smart, energetic companion and meet the clinic travel requirements, Finnick could be a great match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
