About Umbreon
Umbreon is a small mixed-breed puppy looking for a committed foster-to-adopt home within an hour of Delaware. At just over a month old, she's still completing her puppy shot series and will need her rabies vaccine when she's old enough. A non-negotiable part of her adoption is that she must be spayed by 10/31/26 through one of the clinics Grass Roots Rescue works with—this is a requirement, not a suggestion, and you will need to demonstrate willingness to follow through on the timeline. If this doesn’t suit you, do not apply. Puppies like Umbreon need bathroom breaks about every 4 hours, so be sure you can provide a regular mid-day break if you’re gone during the day. She’s a blank slate who will need patience, structure, and basic training, including housebreaking and learning what’s okay to chew. Always supervise her with children and other animals—puppies are fragile and accidents can happen in a blink. If you’ve got the energy and commitment for a young dog, Umbreon is ready and waiting in Milton, DE. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
