Gale is a 10-week-old mixed breed puppy looking for a home within one hour of Delaware. He’s a sweet, clingy pup who wants to be close to his people and other dogs. If he’s out of sight, he’ll let you know; he truly thrives with fur siblings and would do best in a home with another dog. Gale has plenty of puppy energy and loves playing with his foster sister. He’s happiest with a ball or curled up on his teddy bear at nap time. Puppies like Gale need a bathroom break about every four hours, so if no one is home most of the day, make a plan for midday care. Housebreaking and socialization aren’t optional—he’s a blank slate, ready for someone committed to basic training and teaching the rules of the world. All interactions with children and other pets should be closely supervised: Gale’s still teething and discovering boundaries, and he’s small enough that accidents can happen. There’s a non-negotiable requirement to have Gale neutered by the end of August, meeting Delaware’s regulations. Adopters must keep this appointment with a participating clinic.
