About Rue
Rue is a lively, tricolor mixed breed female puppy, about 9 to 10 weeks old and currently weighing 8 lbs. She’s full of puppy energy—playful, friendly, and always up for snuggles. Rue does well letting you know when it’s time to go outside and is already learning the basics of potty training, though she’s still working on crate comfort and will need dedicated leash training. Like most puppies, Rue needs frequent potty breaks (about every four hours), consistent supervision with children and other animals, and structured training to grow into a well-mannered adult. Future adopters must be committed to completing her puppy vaccine series and agree to have Rue spayed by six months old, with the appointment arranged through Grass Roots Rescue in Delaware. You must live within an hour of Delaware and plan to return for her spay appointment. Rue is teething, so she’s still learning which things are okay to chew. She’ll thrive with someone home much of the time, who can train and socialize her as she grows. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
