About Marlin

Marlin is a purebred Pekingese puppy, just over 9 pounds with classic black coloring and a medium-length coat. He came into rescue with his three littermates, all of whom were immediately groomed due to heavy matting. As a result, Marlin’s coat is trimmed shorter than a typical Pekingese style for now, but regular professional grooming will be necessary to maintain his signature look as it grows out. He’s not yet house trained but does know how to use a puppy pad. Marlin came from less-than-ideal conditions with fleas and some hair loss on top of his head, but all puppies are now flea free, on Simparica, and fur is growing in well. He’s been vaccinated and dewormed, and you’ll receive a folder of all his medical records. Marlin gets along well with other dogs and children, showing a friendly and affectionate nature. He’s being raised in Texarkana, TX, but transport is available to select northern cities. Pickup is required in person, and all adoption and transport details are provided directly after approval.
