At around 9 to 10 years old and weighing about 13 pounds, Florence has a lot of wisdom and a gentle presence. She's spayed, had her teeth cleaned, and is fully vaccinated—including her rabies shot. While Florence is currently heartworm positive, she's under a slow kill treatment protocol and hasn't let it slow her down. Her front teeth are worn down from an unknown cause, but it doesn't stop her from wanting to be close to her people. Florence adjusts quickly to new situations and is always looking for her next lap or companion for a car ride. Florence came into rescue from a shelter near the Four States area and is happiest being someone's sidekick. She tends to gravitate toward men but is equally comfortable with women, making her flexible for many homes. Florence gets along with other dogs but does not do well with cats. She is potty trained, willing to use a kennel if needed, and walks calmly on a leash.
