Because Roo is a Double Dapple, he has vision impairment in his right eye, likely related to his genetics. Double Dapple Dachshunds are the dachshund equivalent of Double Merle dogs. When two dapple dogs are bred together, puppies can be born with vision and hearing impairments. He navigates the world like a champ, plays, explores, cuddles, and enjoys life exactly as a puppy should. He may occasionally need a little extra guidance in new environments, but his vision impairment doesn't stop him from being a happy, adventurous little guy.
