About Lola
Lola has had an eventful start—rescued after her original owner's move meant her and her siblings were left behind, she made her way from Texas and is now looking for a foster or adopter in the Seattle area. Just four months old, this Dachshund/Shepherd mix has a roly-poly charm and the legs of a low rider, but don't let looks fool you—she plays hard, loves walks, and quickly hops into any game her dog friends start. Lola is house trained, learning crate skills, and improving her leash manners by the day. She's happiest when romping with toys or bouncing around to make her humans laugh, but also loves a good snuggle after all the fun is done. Lola gets along well with other dogs and children, and would do well in a home with or without canine companions, as long as dog siblings are friendly. She still has classic puppy habits—she chews things she shouldn’t and will sometimes protest in her crate—but responds well to guidance. Lola brings genuine joy when her people come home, ready to entertain and be entertained. Overall, this little dog promises loyalty, laughs, and probably a few chewed toys along the way.
