She’s a small beagle and cavalier mix who came from tough beginnings, found dragging her back legs as a stray, but immediately made it clear no prognosis would slow her down. With spaying, a clean bill for heartworm, and vaccines squared away, Stella is in great health. She’s good with dogs, cats, and children. Her past left her with an old injury in one hind leg, but Stella never accepted any limits. Thanks to her own determination (and a little help from rehab volunteers), she’s been leaving the wheelchair behind and relearning to walk with the kind of upper body strength that leaves everyone amazed. Stella tackles each challenge with a waddle and a grin, always happy and never bitter. She’s affectionate and open-hearted, always ready to share love. Stella thrives with people who keep her moving—walks, therapy, or just cheering her on. She’s survived by sheer grit and deserves all the comfort a home can offer.
