Vision and hearing loss haven’t slowed Duke down—he tosses in a playful little hop when patrolling the yard and thoroughly enjoys running with his foster siblings. He’s an admitted fan of swimming, and nothing beats the comfort of his Lambchop stuffy. Duke’s previous owner cherished him, but circumstances changed, and Take Paws Rescue made sure his gentle spirit and lively energy didn’t end up lost in a crowded shelter. Now he’s up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative—ready to start his next chapter. He gets along well with dogs and children, but cats aren’t on his friends list. Duke thrives in loving company, ideally in a home willing to match his enthusiasm for play and his need for companionship as he settles into his golden years.
