Michelle
AvailableMichelle is a female Labrador Retriever and Australian Cattle Dog mix with a medium build, currently located in Sturgis, MI. She is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Michelle is not yet house trained and brings a friendly, energetic spirit from her early days. She is hoping for a family that can help her settle in and enjoy the comforts of home.
About Michelle
Michelle had a rough start, spending her first months outside in harsh conditions alongside her sister Romy. For the past two years, she's waited for a real home through no fault of her own. Michelle stands out with her black Lab mix looks and comes with a classic lab personality—goofy, friendly, and always ready to bask in the sun. She gets along well with other dogs and doesn't need to be adopted with her sister. Michelle hasn't lived with children, but would likely do well with respectful, older kids who can handle a medium-sized, energetic dog who might not always realize her own size. At about 50 lb, she's all heart and wiggle, and just needs a family willing to provide stability and room to run. A securely fenced yard is essential, and rescue asks that all current pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on their shots and heartworm prevention. Adopters must be within two and a half hours of Quincy, Michigan. Michelle is still learning about house training but is eager for a second chance. Give them the home they have been waiting for.
