About Romy
Romy spent her first 10 months out in rough conditions with her sister Michelle, but she hasn't let that take the spark out of her. After two years searching for a family, she's still waiting for her chance. Romy is a friendly, goofy dog with a lab-like love of sunbathing and play. She gets along well with other dogs and approaches life with an easygoing attitude. Romy looks like a yellow lab and weighs about 50 lb, with a personality that's classic Lab—wiggly, outgoing, and sometimes blissfully unaware of her own size. She hasn't had exposure to kids in her foster home, but could do fine with children who are dog-savvy and understand she could accidentally knock over little ones. House training is still a work in progress. A fenced yard is required for Romy, and her adopters need to be within a two and a half hour drive from Quincy, Michigan. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on core vaccines and heartworm prevention. Romy and Michelle don’t need to be adopted together.
