Skymir is a lively, 2-year-old male black Lab mix overflowing with love, intelligence, and charm. Once a lonely puppy in a southern shelter, he’s blossomed in Michigan and is now on the lookout for a forever family near Coldwater to share endless adventures. Skymir is playful and affectionate, greeting everyone with wiggles, especially when foster siblings are around. His favorite things include gnawing on a hard bone, chasing squirrels, learning new tricks for treats, and soaking up the sun after cozy morning crate time. While Skymir might be a touch shy when meeting someone new, he warms up quickly with patience and gentle encouragement. He’s making great progress with his manners, especially his excitement-fueled jumping, and is a quick study with consistent training. Skymir dreams of a loving home with a fenced yard for his zoomies and would thrive with a playful canine companion or an active family who enjoys plenty of fun together. He shines brightest when surrounded by his people and dog friends, preferring not to be left alone for long stretches. Skymir comes fully vetted, housebroken, and crate-trained—completely ready to move in and become your loyal, energetic best friend.
