About Howdy
Howdy is a young, playful pup being fostered in Houston, TX, waiting to head home with a family up north. Due to border protocols, you'll need to meet in Blaine, WA for pick-up. Howdy’s only 10 weeks old, wiggly, and full of life. He was part of a Texas litter born after his stray mom was rescued from beside a busy freeway. At 15 pounds now with plenty of growing left, he’s expected to be medium to large size, likely somewhere around his 60-pound mom when full grown. This little guy is outgoing with people, dogs, cats, and kids—he simply likes everyone. His favorite activities? Zooming around the yard and chasing his foster siblings one minute, then climbing into a lap for some reassurance the next. He’d enjoy a canine buddy, but it’s not essential. He’d love a fenced yard or an active household to help him use up his puppy energy. House and crate training are still a work in progress, as expected for his age, but he’s picking up fast with a patient foster family guiding him. All puppies under a year—including Howdy—do best with some basic obedience classes to get started on the right paw. When he’s adopted, he’ll go out on a neuter contract, and he’ll have his vaccinations and microchip before travel. Give this playful, affectionate pup a chance—he’s ready to bring some joyful chaos into the right home. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
