About Cowboy
Cowboy is a joyful, playful pup living in a Houston foster home, ready to transport once his adopter steps forward. His mom was a stray rescued just in time to deliver Cowboy and his siblings safely. At just six weeks old as of late April, Cowboy is all energy and curiosity, with a sweet nature that makes him easy to love. He’s estimated to grow into a medium-to-large size, based on his 60-pound mom and current growth. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. His foster describes him as a bundle of happiness who loves romping in the yard with doggie friends and being snuggled by people. Cowboy isn’t quite potty trained yet, but he’s making quick progress with patient guidance in his foster home. Prospective adopters should know he thrives on activity and would benefit from basic training classes and a secure yard or an active routine. He’ll be adopted under a neuter contract and is up to date on all puppy vaccinations. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate puppy and have a bit of patience for house training, Cowboy could be your match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
