About Gunner Big Ears
Gunner Big Ears is a 5-month-old, 22-pound bundle of sweetness who’s survived a rough start. Abandoned at a noisy construction site in Puerto Rico, Gunner hunkered down in a storage container, desperate for safety until rescuers stepped in right on time. Despite his early scare, he’s bounced back as the ultimate snuggler. He’ll melt into your lap, craving close contact and turning belly rubs into nap sessions. The minute you stop petting him, he’s ready to gently ask for more. Don’t let those enormous ears and big puppy eyes fool you—Gunner loves with every fiber and doesn’t care that he’s not technically a lapdog. He even has a small club foot, which the vet calls purely cosmetic. It doesn’t slow him, but it does add a salsa-dancing wiggle to his step. It’s part of his quirky charm and makes him even more endearing. Fully house trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations, Gunner gets along with other dogs, cats, and children. All he needs now is a loving home where he can keep gaining confidence and enjoy the safe, happy life he missed out on until now. Born December 25th, that makes Gunner a Capricorn—resilient, loyal, and determined to find belonging. Your new best friend is just one click away.
