About Maybel The Shy
Maybel — short for Maybelline — is a 10-month-old mix of German Shepherd and Husky, instantly recognizable by her bright blue eyes that look like perfectly applied eyeliner. Her soft, golden, long coat and lithe build make her striking, and even more so when you factor in her playful, puppy-like energy. At about 50 pounds, she’s still learning about the world and picks things up quickly, with impressive progress in potty and leash training. Maybel gets along well with other dogs and cats, and her gentle, affectionate side shines once she feels safe. She tends to be wary around men initially but, given patience and encouragement, she reveals a goofy, loving nature. She’ll need a family who can help her keep building confidence and remind her the world is a good place. In return, Maybel offers loyal companionship, cuddles, and her endearing blue-eyed gaze. She’s currently in Puerto Rico and will travel to the states as soon as a foster or adoptive home is lined up. Make Maybel part of your adventure. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
