If interested in the dog, PLEASE go to our website to apply!* Nexus was abandoned in Okmulgee, and was recently returned due to no fault of her own Nexus was returned through no fault of her own and is now looking for the right forever home! She’s a high-energy girly pop who loves to play & run, so she would thrive in an active household. She absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys having friends to play with. She tends to be submissive with more dominant dogs. Because she can be possessive around food, she should be fed separately in a multi-dog home! She’s working on leash training and does great with corrections. Nexus is still working on crate training and may need a couple nights to get used to this while adjusting to a new routine. She can also be nervous at first, especially around men. When initially approached by unfamiliar males, she may nervously pee, but once she warms up, she does great and becomes very affectionate. This sweet girl loves being close to her people and soaking up all the love and attention she can get. She will require regular coat maintenance and does great at grooming! Overall, Nexus is a loving pup who is adjusting quickly and just needs a patient home to help her continue building confidence!
