About Spur 🧡
Spur has been through a lot, pulled from a rural shelter with heartworm but now just about through treatment and ready for his next chapter. He came in with obvious signs of possible physical abuse, but after steady TLC, Spur’s real personality has surfaced. He’s got the classic Aussie wigglebutt and a knack for attention—half the time he looks like a meerkat, just waiting for you to notice him. Toys are Spur’s world; he’ll find a way to keep himself busy but if you’re anywhere near a couch, he’ll be beside you asking for pets, and if you ignore him, expect persistent taps from his paws. Spur is needy and doesn’t hide it. He’s house and crate trained as long as he gets let out often. He came in with almost zero manners, so he's still learning his way in the world and needs some patience. When it comes to other dogs, Spur can show dominance and will need slow, careful introductions, but he does have several dog friends he enjoys playing with. At 2-3 years old and about 30 lbs, Spur keeps things lively—he’ll either leave you laughing or questioning your sanity, but he definitely brings an extra spark to any home.
