Atlantis has come a long way from life in an outside pen, where his days were spent mostly stained with red dirt and little else. Surrendered with his siblings to a rural shelter, he's now getting a real chance at comfort and consistency. Each day brings something new, but Atlantis meets it all with an open heart—snuggling up for every bit of warmth and connection he can get. He's the kind of dog who wants to be close, soaking up attention and affection whenever possible. He’s fond of tug of war and has a special love for stuffed toys. Atlantis would make a good companion on a hike or any adventure, eager to be by your side. At four years old and about 30 pounds, he brings manageable energy to the household. He is house and crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, and thrives with older children (12+). House manners are still a work in progress, but he’s eager to learn and please.
