About Gene
Geneāalso known as Gene-Gene the Dancing Machineāoriginally arrived with his mom and siblings as tiny pups, pulled from a city shelter just in time. DNA confirmed what everyone suspected: Dalmatian mixed with Australian Shepherd. The rest of Geneās litter found homes early, but sometimes returns happen. Gene came back after a mismatch with a resident dog and a family move, giving him another shot at the right fit. He shines with other dogs, always up for a play session, snuggling, or tagging along for whatever the day brings. Geneās gentle side stands out most when heās with puppiesāheās turned into a favorite foster uncle. Heās house trained, crate trained, medium-sized, and sharp as a tack. Gene would excel in agility or any active pursuit, but heās just as happy being handsome and hanging out. He gets along well with other dogs and children, making him easy to love and easy to place. Gene is in Mounds, OK, but adoptions in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and surrounding areas are favored. Exceptional references needed for long-distance adopters. Ready to meet a genuinely good companion?
