About Ollie
Meet Ollie, a 3.5-year-old Australian Shepherd ready for a home that understands and appreciates everything that comes with her breed. After being surrendered by her previous owner, Ollie is eager to find someone who will offer her structure, activity, and clear guidance. She is energetic and sharp, thriving when she has a full schedule—think long walks, creative play, training sessions, enrichment activities, or even some dog sports. Ollie has all the instincts you expect from a working dog. She does have a history of resource guarding food, so she'll need an experienced, patient adopter ready to keep working on training and management. That consistency will be key as she settles in and reaches her full potential. Since entering foster, Ollie has lived with both dogs and cats, and she handles both well. She does sometimes chase the cats, though never aggressively, and she enjoys the company of other dogs—having buddies around seems to help her make progress. Ollie is resilient, smart, and looking for someone who will invest time in her growth and see her strengths, not her past. If you want an athletic, enthusiastic dog who shines with direction and care, Ollie could be exactly who you’re looking for. Your new best friend is just one click away.
