About Stevie

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Stevie: The Wiggly Butt Wonder! Stevie is a 4.5-month-old Australian Shepherd mix who happens to be completely blind, but her joyful spirit shines bright every day. She greets the world with a contagious, happy-go-lucky attitude and an irresistible wiggly butt dance at the sound of a friendly voice. Stevie is incredibly food-motivated, making her eager to learn new things—even if her training requires a bit of extra patience due to her blindness. She thrives in a supportive environment, especially with a laid-back dog companion to help her navigate new routines. Stevie would do best in a home where someone is present most of the time, and for her safety, a fenced yard is an important must-have. Having visited a veterinary optometrist, Stevie is suspected to be fully blind for now, but there remains a small hope that she may develop some vision as she grows. She is ready to share her courage, resilience, and zest for life with the right family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
