About Millie
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Millie, an incredible German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd mix with a story of resilience. After coming from a difficult situation where she experienced abuse, Millie found care and guidance with two dedicated trainers who have helped her blossom. Millie is very smart, responds well to training, and thrives with structured, positive reinforcement. She is seeking a home with no other pets or children, ideally where a man would be her main companion—a loyal friend looking for a close bond. Millie is happiest with an experienced family familiar with her breeds and their unique traits. She loves sunbathing, napping by your feet, taking walks, and delighting in new smells. While she isn’t fully leash trained, she is easy to walk, well-behaved in the house, and not at all destructive. In her foster home, Millie greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm and loves car rides. She prefers a mix of wet and freeze-dried food, and especially enjoys affectionate interactions and time spent with her person. The trainers are committed to helping her transition to her forever home, regardless of location. Millie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped, and currently being fostered at Pawsitive Cause. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
