About King
King is one of 29 dogs who landed at Big Dog Ranch after a tough situation in North Alabama. The rescue team worked for hours to bring these dogs to safety, pulling them from difficult conditions. King arrived scared, unsure, but never aggressive—just confused and overwhelmed by all the sudden changes. Now he is settling in, getting crucial medical care, regular meals, and gentle attention. He’s discovering that people can be kind and patient. Some of his peers are just learning the basics like leash walking and trust, and King follows right along, starting to ease up by the day. Life in a real home is still new to him, but he’s learning, and every day reveals a little more of his sweet, gentle nature. King is eager for a chance at a steady routine and patient company, where he can bring his quiet resilience and soak up family warmth. Ready to make space for a dog who needs a soft landing?
