Drift, also called Reeves, started out life at the Ranch and was adopted as a puppy, but that didn't stick—so he's back and hoping for a real shot this time. He's a large shepherd mix born in 2020, making him about 5 years old and a classic Gemini: smart, sensitive to new environments, and quick to watch before he leaps. Being back at the Ranch has him on edge, so he’s looking for an understanding, experienced adopter who can give him clear boundaries and notice when he needs his space. Drift does best in a household with adults only. Once he settles in, he's loyal and friendly with his people, and he gets along with cats and smaller dogs, especially since his last home had chihuahuas and cats as family members. He’s already learned to walk well on leash, sit when asked, and keep things tidy indoors, which gives you a head start on training.
