Hi, I'm Chip, and I'm just as sweet as chocolate. I arrived at the Ranch after my people unfortunately had to surrender me. It's a tough change for an older dog to get used to, so I'm hoping to go right back into a home. I know I may be a little noisy at the window, but it's only due to my uncertainty in this unfamiliar place. Please give me a chance, and I'll show you my true colors. Though I've got a bit of gray in my coat, I'm still plenty spunky. I may take a moment to warm up, but a few treats later I'll be more than happy to bounce around with you or play fetch. The sudden change in my life has left me a bit wary, so I would do best in a home where everyone understands boundaries and will allow me to open up at my own pace. If you sit with me quietly for a bit and offer snacks, you'll be rewarded with a sweet and loving companion who just wants to goof around for a bit before laying down for a nap. Remember, I was in a home before. That means I was taught some really cool things like Sit, Down, Paw, and staying clean inside. Please don't pass me by. It's harder for older dogs to get adopted, but with your help we can change that and get me into a cozy home.
