Meet Herb — short for Herbivore! This handsome 1-year-old Lab mix is a goofy, lovable guy who enjoys the simple things in life: sleeping in bed with his people, playing fetch, and carrying around his favorite toys. Herb already knows a few basic commands like sit, come, and lay down, and he’s always happy to show off for a treat or some praise! Herb came to us from another organization after suffering an injury to one of his back feet. He’s missing four toes, but don’t tell him that — it certainly doesn’t slow him down one bit! He still loves to run, play, and enjoy life to the fullest. Herb has previously lived with other dogs and cats, though we always recommend proper introductions since every home and animal dynamic is different. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.
