We assume you agree! He is an extremely excitable 3.5 year old dog, but initial intros tend to be somewhat hesitant just due to the unknown. Then once he hits that excitement, he sometimes lunges because he is so hyped to be with the person or animal he wants to be with. Because of that, we would suggest using best judgement for smaller children. Happy would be a good addition to many homes. He would have to meet everyone in the home before going with his new family! If there is a cat in the home, slow introductions would be the best route for both parties. And if a dog is in the home, a dog intro would be required. He will whine until they both get sniffs in.
