About Nova

Nova is a bright, happy Labrador Retriever mix who landed in rescue when her previous family moved away. She’s a large young girl, with a medium yellow coat and an easygoing, silly Lab personality—her foster thinks she may even be pure Lab at heart. Nova currently weighs around 53 lbs and is still a bit underweight for her size, so her foster is helping her fill out to a healthy look. Even though she’s still gaining weight, she’s full of energy and eager to please. Nova loves to play ball in a big, securely fenced yard and really shines during outdoor playtime or relaxing cuddle sessions indoors. She thrives on adventure, walks, and any sort of fun with her humans. Nova is living with both a dog and a cat in foster and gets along seamlessly with both, plus she does well with children. She has not been house trained yet, but her young age means she’s ready to learn. Nova will go home spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, with all her medical paperwork provided at adoption. Her adoption process requires an in-person meeting in Snohomish County, WA, and the rescue does not arrange shipping—adopters must be able to pick her up in person within their 300-mile adoption radius. Nova is ready for a loving home that will help her settle in, continue her training, and give her the attention she deserves. They say the first three days in a new home are all about getting comfortable, and Nova’s eager to start that journey with her new people. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
