About Bear Bryant
Bear Bryant is a big-hearted, goofy mixed-breed dog who brings energy and joy wherever he goes. At about 4 years old and roughly 50 pounds, Bear is housebroken as long as his routine is kept and sleeps comfortably in his crate both overnight and while his humans are out. He absolutely loves car rides and will either watch the world go by or take a quick nap. Bear walks nicely on leash, especially when wearing a prong collar, and has medium to high energy, so daily activity is a must. He has a true passion for the outdoors—expect plenty of zoomies, playful toy chasing, and grass-rolling, but he also appreciates downtime snuggled on the couch. Bear thrives with other dogs, though having a canine companion is not required. He tries to play with cats and might try to chase to get them running, so he'd do best with dog-savvy cats. Around kids, Bear’s enthusiasm shines, but because he doesn’t always know his size, he’s best suited to homes with sturdy, confident children who can give him space when he gets the zoomies. Bear has never met a stranger; every new person is a potential friend. His main requirement is supervision outdoors—Bear is a true fence-climbing escape artist and cannot be left unsupervised in a fenced area. He needs to always be leashed or secured on a long lead for his safety, no exceptions. Bear Bryant will make you laugh, keep you active, and give back plenty of love in return. Ready to fall in love?
