Tanni is a soulful, 8-year-old large mixed breed female who’ll quickly make you feel at home with her. She recently completed heartworm treatment and is now negative. She gets anxious during thunderstorms, managed with trazodone, but otherwise has an easygoing temperament. Housebroken and crate trained (though she’d rather you didn’t need the crate), Tanni adores car rides and always wants to ride up front unless she’s safely buckled in the back. Walks and hikes are her happy times—she’s tuned in on leash and knows to check in for treats, but she’s strong and needs a handler able to manage her strength and energy when outdoors. At home, she alternates between cozy nap marathons and playful zoomies, always clutching a toy when let out of her crate. She’s not much for yards—give her a couch or an armchair to curl up in, and she’ll lounge contentedly.
