About Koah

Koah is a medium-sized, 7-year-old hound/English Pointer mix who landed at the shelter after his previous family felt he wasn’t trained. In reality, Koah already knows commands like “sit” and “stay,” and he’s gentle when taking treats. While he could use a little help with house-training, he’s otherwise a sweet, calm companion looking for a stable home. Koah has lived happily with children, cats, and other dogs according to his former family, and volunteers have found him easygoing and eager to please. At about 31 lbs and vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative, Koah is ready for his next chapter. He’s the kind of dog who has moved beyond puppy chaos and is looking for a soft spot to land. If you want a balanced, friendly adult dog, Koah is hoping to meet you soon. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
