Dolly is a small, adult female Shih Tzu/terrier mix. She currently resides in University Place, WA. Dolly is spayed and vaccinated, and though she isn’t yet house trained, she is kennel trained and eager to learn. She loves spending time with children, other dogs, and even cats, making her a great fit for various home environments.

About Dolly

Dolly is about 18 months old and weighs around 17 lbs. She’s likely a terrier mix—there might be some Shih Tzu, Brussels Griffon, or Border Terrier in the mix, but what’s certain is she’s an adorable, lively little dog. Dolly carries herself with cheerful energy and usually has a grin on her face. She’s playful and lighthearted, eager to walk on leash or happily lounge on the couch. Her foster mom says Dolly is kennel trained, rides well in the car, and absolutely loves kids, cats, and other dogs. She’ll play with toys or just relax, adapting to the situation easily. Dolly has already been spayed and is current on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. She has tested high positive for heartworms, though her chest X-rays show no lasting problems. She’s begun treatment, which will be finished at the rescue’s Chester, NJ vet (the rescue covers this), so adopters need to be close enough for a couple of trips and able to provide a calm, quiet environment during her recovery.
