About Cyrus
Cyrus is a small Shih Tzu mix ready for a fresh start in a committed, loving home. Weighing about 10 pounds and sporting a long, apricot and golden coat, Cyrus brings plenty of energy and joy to daily life. He’s happy, active, and thrives when he’s around people or playing with other kind dogs. If you’re looking for a cheerful companion who readily embraces fun, Cyrus fits the bill. Cyrus needs a home with a securely fenced yard—a visible, connected barrier is a must, and electronic fences won’t be approved. A sturdy, high-quality crate is also required due to safety reasons; standard wire or soft crates won’t meet the mark. No apartments are considered, though some condos or houses with a private, dog-safe yard may qualify. Adoption applications are considered for homes in Western Washington and, on occasion, Northern Oregon. He absolutely gets along well with other dogs, but homes with children aren’t preferred for his placement. Cyrus is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Meet-and-greets will happen in Poulsbo, WA, and interested adopters must follow the outlined process, which includes submitting an application, providing proof of fencing and crate, a phone interview, and finally an in-person introduction. Give Cyrus the secure, active life he deserves and watch his naturally playful spirit flourish. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
