About Franklin
Franklin has oversized paws and an even bigger heart. He loves attention, snuggles, and absolutely melts for a good face rub—sometimes so much he topples over with joy. Watching him play with the garden hose or paw at his water bowl until it's a personal puppy pool never fails to crack up his foster family. Franklin's easygoing nature means he lets everyone, even young kids, scoop him up without protest and he's gentle playing with his brother Freddie and giant foster sister, setting boundaries when needed with a dramatic (and hilarious) cry. He’s respectful of older, no-nonsense dogs too. Crate time is a breeze for Franklin—he actually likes it, especially if there’s a treat or a good chew toy. He only pipes up to go outside, and you might have to pick him up for a nap break to get him moving. Franklin can be aloof in a puppy way, but wins loyalty with the occasional scrambled egg or pumpkin snack. He’s a smart, attentive pup who responds quickly to a firm "uh-uh" and generally aims to please. Franklin adapts well to new people, quiet and lively homes alike. He even coexists with a house bunny and free-roaming chickens, occasionally joining his brother in a harmless chicken chase, but always with good humor, never aggression. All around, he’s a warm, gentle soul ready to become a remarkable family member. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
