Cookie is a 2 year old Doodle/Poodle mix weighing 53 lbs full grown. She came into rescue because her owner worked long days and didn't have the time to spend with her that she deserves. Cookie has medium energy and plays well with all of the dogs she is fostered with, but she really loves to be with her people. She gets along well with everyone she meets, even children. She's done well with dogs of all ages and sizes and even lives harmoniously with 2 cats. Cookie is both house and crate trained and walks well on leash. She is fairly calm and quiet for a Doodle and loves to spend time with her people. She will thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and/or a family that includes her in their adventures. This amazing girl has it all and will be the perfect addition to any home. We hold open house events for our local dogs every Monday from 3-5pm and some Saturday mornings at our rescue located at 106 Adams Street in Medfield. All dogs are up to date on their sots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
